Today we went to another town around St. Malo. We walked through an antique market and then walked a trail that allowed us to see the ocean from many different views. Exhausted from walking so much the night before, we came home and relaxed. While the girls swam, I started the dreadful essay I have to do for AP Literature.
We got dressed up and went to Dinard, which is a very wealthy town with Britain style. We looked at the shops and then went to our glass blowing class. It was super fun, but hard at first. Some of my beads are not to good... The teacher and his wife are good friends with Bruno and Fabienne, so we went back to their home and ate dinner. The wife paints lacker and explained the whole process to me, which seemed way to difficult. They opened up a bottle of Pinot Noir, in which I had two glasses and Bruno asked if I was drunk yet
Of course I wasn’t. But I think I take after my mom because I got pretty sleepy! I passed on the sea food, which I have been eating quit often here, and opted for the chicken. It was cool having dinner with the couple because the wife spoke good English and told me many stories. They are planning on traveling to the U.S. this year with their son who is 20 and may stop in Chicago, so I gave them my information. Who knows, we may meet again back in my home town! We got home around 11:30 pm and I passed out.
